Lecture by Friedhelm Hoffmann at the DAI Cairo

Some Observations on the Transmission of Late Egyptian Medical Texts

 

Prof. Dr. Friedhelm Hoffmann is director of the Institute of Egyptology and Coptology at Munich University, Germany. His research interests are focused on Demotic studies and the development of sciences in Ancient Egypt as well as the relation of Egypt towards its neighbours in the Late Period.
The lecture will be followed by signing a cooperation agreement between the University of Munich and the German Archaeological Institute and a reception in the garden of the institute.
