The series "Menschen - Kulturen - Traditionen. Studien aus den Forschungsclustern des Deutschen Archäologischen Instituts" contains articles from current questions of the research cluster of the DAI.

In the years 2005 and 2006, the research clusters were designed on the basis of the research plan of the DAI. They offer the possibility to examine the diverse and global research projects at the institute under common issues and ways of working.

Current issues of the research cluster are as follows:

→ Cluster 2: Innovations: technological, social
→ Cluster 3: Political spaces
→ Cluster 4: Sanctuaries: Gestalt and ritual, continuity and change
