Call for Applications - Autumn School in Skopje, North Macedonia

The focus is on hands-on exercises using artifacts from the Scupi excavation site, which will be analyzed with the help of the fields of archaeobotany, archaeozoology, and dendrochronology.
Participants will learn how scientific methods help us better understand past societies, their climate, and food production.
The course is particularly aimed at students who have not yet specialized in these methods.
A good command of English is required.
Accommodations and travel expenses are covered. Meal and travel expenses will be reimbursed upon presentation of appropriate receipts. Transportation to and from the Scupi excavation site will be arranged.
We are seeking participants from North Macedonia, Kosovo, and other Balkan countries; however, the program is also open to interested individuals from other regions.
