Working at DAI
With a global staff of approximately 350 working at 20 different locations, DAI is the largest archeological research institute with activities around the globe. As a Federal German institution, we offer a wide range of exciting jobs in science, research infrastructure, and administration. Our guiding principles in recruiting and creating jobs are equal employment opportunity and family-friendly work environments. We also offer a number of remote work options.
The professional and academic education of students and young scientists at various stages in their careers is one of our central tasks. Our scientific and professional training programs include jobs at our excavation sites, as part of our research projects, and in dedicated focus areas in our departments. In all these areas, DAI offers job opportunities for students, doctoral students, and post-docs.
Our various stipend and fellowship programs as well as our continuous training courses are also key elements of our professional and academic training efforts for young scientists.
In addition to these work options and opportunities we offer internships and volunteer work positions.
