DAI editorial departments
The wide range of research areas and results creates various challenges for publication and distribution. Publications need to present large-scale architectural blueprints and maps as well as high-quality photos of antique sculptures and drawings of minor excavation finds. Excavation publications and basic material presentations are primary source editions that often remain valid and valuable for a century and longer. The standards on print quality DAI adheres to are correspondingly high. Nevertheless, the DAI is also open to new, digital forms of publication as well as material collections in databases.
DAI's editorial departments are responsible for upholding these high quality standards. They also design new publication concepts in line with new developments and challenges.
