Projects worldwide
At more than 200 locations worldwide, the DAI is currently conducting approximately 300 projects of various kinds with international partners. The spectrum ranges from thematic cluster and collaborative research projects, to research projects with application-oriented questions, projects for the preservation of world heritage, and long-term research, sometimes lasting for more than a hundred years, at outstanding sites of human history. In the following overview, completed projects are also listed in order to document the work and to make results available.

Vernetzte Forschung
Unser Programm für die gemeinsame Erforschung und Diskussion wegweisender Themen wurde 2021 neu gestartet. In Forschungsclustern, regionalen Netzwerken, Diskussionsforen und dem Young Research Network „PhDAI“ werden aktuelle Themen aufgegriffen und das DAI vernetzend und die community weltweit einbeziehend erforscht. Damit führen wir jenen Prozess der Clusterforschung weiter, der 2006 erfolgreich begonnen wurde.
