Nomisma.org and DARIAH-EU Workshop
The main aim of the Workshop was to coordinate the work of the Nomisma working groups in order to ensure compatibility of the Nomisma controlled vocabulary and ontology across the wide range of fields of numismatics now covered by Nomisma.

The workshop was organized by David Wigg-Wolf (RGK/DAI), Rahel Ackermann (Inventar der Fundmünzen der Schweiz) and Andrew Meadows (Oxford University). Following a day of presentations of a wide range of new projects and initiatives in digital numismatics, the second day was dedicated to group discussions on individual topics, in particular iconography, the problem of modern counterfeits, medieval and modern numismatics, coin hoards and the Cultural Heritage Data Management Tool, Dédalo, which is increasingly being used for numismatic typologies and coin finds.
